I think it's actually LeVar, with a capital V. Take it from an ex-trekkie.
Otherwise, a pretty good start. As for the struggle to find oneself - I "found myself" when I stopped trying to "be" somebody, and just concentrated on being. Very Buddhist, I know. It also tends to lead you down a path of poverty, because money never becomes a driving force.
